Megan Olds

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist

Treating anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, as well as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

I’m a Master’s level therapist and have been working with clients for more than 14 years. I have comprehensive training and experience evaluating and treating anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, as well as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I utilize a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness and EMDR.

I work with adults struggling with trauma-related symptoms, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, grief, life transitions and those interested in making healthy lifestyle changes. I believe change is possible when people feel safe to explore their values, hopes, dreams, commitments, and purpose, as well as their disappointments and hurts. I aim to help clients "slow down," encouraging reflection and insight, and the development of healthy coping strategies to create sustainable change. My stance is curious and flexible reflecting my belief that my clients are the experts on their lives.

I love the work of helping people to develop more trusting, loving, and creative relationships with themselves. It takes tremendous courage to reach out and to be truly seen. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to connect with you.
